20th September 'Rock 4 Connor' Charity Concert
OK guys... I thought I'd send out a personal mesage considering that this is a pretty personal and important event to me - so I hope you read on. We're putting on a charity concert on the 20th September to raise money for a sick little boy I recently had the privilege to meet called Connor Maclean. Basically we're trying to raise funds to help him with both his ongoing health care and his dream of recording his very own CD. Sony BMG have just got behind the event and have agreed to put Connor in their Sydney studios for a day which is amazing news!!! To coincide with the concert I will be releasing my 3rd album so it should be a huge night! We're also lucky to have the support of another very talented local artist in Dan Carroll who will be performing on the night along with (if we're lucky) Connor himself too!!! The concert will be held at Southport RSL here on the Gold Coast and we want to get as many people behind this as possible...

Casey's Latest Album Review
This is a snippet of an article that appeared in The Border Mail, newspaper Thursday, April 27, 2006. For the full story just click here:
'CASEY Barnes may well be Queensland’s best-kept musical secret. The Gold Coast singer-songwriter has come off an amazing year in which he opened for visiting Canadian rocker Bryan Adams and showcased his radio-friendly rock style alongside well-known Aussie acts such as Eskimo Joe, The Whitlams and Diesel.
Now, Barnes has released his second album, What The Hell AreYou Waiting For?, an apt title for a record just waiting to be discovered by the masses. On his new release, available through his website, Barnes delivers what can only be described as incredibly passionate music. It’s honest, it’s easy to digest and boasts many memorable moments, the acoustic stunner In Your Eyes and the single-worthy Accidently just two that come to mind.
Fans of Rob Thomas and Matchbox 20 will love WTHAYWF and Casey Barnes is definitely a name to keep an eye on.'
