CASEY ANNOUNCED AS A FINALIST IN THE 2018 TOYOTA GOLDEN GUITAR AWARDS

Singer-songwriter Casey Barnes was announced as a FINALIST in the 2018 Golden Guitar Awards this week at a star-studded event at ABC Studios in Sydney. Casey is included in the ‘QantasLink New Talent Of The Year’ category for his single ‘The Way We Ride’.

2018 is already shaping up to be a significant year with Casey with a new album in the works and him returning to the Tamworth Country Music Festival for multiple shows as well as performing at CMC Rocks in March. Known as Australia’s largest International Country Music Festival, Casey will be sharing the stage with the likes of Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini, Darius Rucker, Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, Brett Young and many more.

‘The Way We Ride’ has also caught the attention of PBR Australia this year, which has led to Casey performing at their major bull riding events around the country including Brisbane, Newcastle, Townsville, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Winners of the Golden Guitars will be announced at a red carpet event at the conclusion of Tamworth Country Music Festival on Saturday 27^th January.

After the recent success of previous single ‘Just Like Magic’, Casey Barnes has once again joined forces with Michael Paynter and MSquared Productions for his latest highly anticipated new single ’The Way We Ride’ set for release on June 2nd. This gutsy high-energy track sees Casey ramping up the pace into overdrive delivering a song that is sure to get everyone on their feet.

‘I can’t remember ever being more excited about the release of a single than I am with ‘The Way We Ride’. I really feel this single is a huge step forward for me after the recent success of ‘Just Like Magic’ and it’s been the perfect match teaming up again with both Michael Paynter and Michael Delorenzis from MSquared to produce the latest single. It’s the perfect driving song so be sure to turn it up nice and loud! Can’t wait to perform this one live too’.

Casey’s current album ‘Live As One’ was released August 2016 and is a collection of new songs along with fan favorites. Most of the tracks on this modern country album were co-written and produced by Casey Barnes and Rick Price, plus Casey’s good friend and fellow songwriter Mark Duckworth. Casey takes stage at California’s Country Summer Music Festival

Last weekend saw Casey perform at Northern California's premier music festival, Country Summer. Located in Santa Rosa, California, the festival brings together the best in country music for the 3 day music event which was held over the weekend of June 3-5.

Casey and his band performed alongside such great artists as Lady Antebellum, Craig Morgan, The Band Perry, Kip Moore and Billy Currington and many more. Casey has had his sights on the US market for some time and he was blown away by the response from local media and the crowd.

Just want to say a HUGE thank you again to Country Summer Music Festival, Fender and also everyone that helped make the entire trip possible including my band who flew with me all the way from Australia. Casey Barnes records new material in Nashville

Casey Barnes has launched into 2016 with a bang heading over to Nashville to record exciting new tracks for his upcoming album at the legendary Sound Emporium Studios. These studios are amongst the finest in the world and have seen artists such as Taylor Swift, Eric Clapton, Sheryl Crow, Tom Jones, R.E.M, Willie Nelson, Trisha Yearwood, Kenny Rogers and Blake Shelton all record there in the past.

In what is shaping up to be some of his best recordings yet, Casey has once again teamed up with fellow Australian Rick Price as co-songwriter and producer. The songs will be mixed and mastered by Eddie Spear who is responsible for working with the likes of The White Stripes, Willie Nelson, Neil Young, Norah Jones, Jack Johnson, Sheryl Crow and more recently Chris Stapleton.

Casey's current single 'The One You Love' continues to excel and has had wonderful support at radio. In its first week of release it was the 7th most added single to Australian radio on the Play MPE charts. It also recently reached number 3 on the Official Australian Airplay Country Top 20. Riding the wave of success with a string of highly successful singles in 2018, the monumental ride continues for Golden Guitar Finalist Casey Barnes with the release of a brand new single ‘Better Days’ and the announcement that he will be touring the US in the first quarter of 2019.

‘Better Days’ taken from Casey’s career defining #1 album ‘The Good Life’ (which has to date been streamed over 2 million times on Spotify) is due for release on Friday 15th February. A positive song, showcasing Barnes’ now familiar catchy hooks and anthemic melodies tells the tale about living in the moment and appreciating the life we have in the present and not reflecting on the past.

CASEY RELEASES NEW SINGLE ‘FLESH & BONE’

In follow up to the highly successful ‘Valentine’, Casey returns with a brand new single ‘Flesh & Bone’ which is set for release this Friday April 18th on iTunes. This is the title track off Casey’s forthcoming EP due out mid year. ‘Flesh and Bone’ has already achieved critical acclaim having reached the finals of the prestigious International Songwriting Competition, which saw over 19,000 entries worldwide. Winners will be announced late April.

Officially released on iTunes on April 18^th, ‘Flesh and Bone’ was co-written with fellow Australian Rick Price in Nashville who also produced the track. Grammy award winner Jason Lehning mixed the song.

Casey Set To Release His First Single of 2014 - 'VALENTINE' featuring his wife Michelle

Casey makes a much anticipated return in 2014 with his first single release ‘Valentine’. This beautiful ballad, which was recorded with his wife Michelle, is a really sweet love song timed perfectly for all the valentines out there with the impending date of Feb 14th fast approaching. 'Valentine' will be the first single off his forthcoming EP due for release in the next couple of months. Officially released on iTunes on January 31^st, ‘Valentine’ was co-written with fellow Australian singer songwriter Rick Price in Nashville who also produced the track. The song was mixed by Grammy award winner Jason Lehning.

Casey is now under the wing of elite US based management company, Arrow Entertainment after recently signing an exclusive worldwide management deal. This new union will help build Casey’s profile internationally creating opportunities both here and outside of Australia. Arrow Entertainment is headed up by Chris Sobonya (President), and has a roster of worldwide artists from countries such as the US, Canada, Sweden, The Netherlands, New Zealand, UK and Australia.

2015 has been a tremendous year for Casey with performances on national TV shows such as ‘The Morning Show’ (Seven Network) and Marngrook Footy Show as well as performing at festivals such as Broadbeach Country Music Festival and opening for Mariah Carey for A Day On The Green.

Casey will debut the single live for the first time at his upcoming appearance at Queensland’s premier music event, Caloundra Music Festival. Casey will be performing on the main stage on Monday 5^th October, along such artists as Angus and Julia Stone, Josh Pike, The Badloves, The Baby Animals and Hoodoo Gurus.

'Be Mine would definitely have to be one of my personal favourites on the new album. It was such a fun and effortless song to write and is already one of the most well received at our live shows. It’s funny because I often show my two young daughters new songs when I finish in the studio as they're always an honest (sometimes brutal) barometer and apparently this one is their favourite... so I hope you guys enjoy it as much as we loved recording it!'

CASEY BARNES SET TO PERFORM AT MAJOR U.S COUNTRY MUSIC FESTIVAL

Casey has been announced today to perform at one of the premier U.S Music Festivals ‘Country Summer’ in June, alongside major US Country Artists such as Lady Antebellum, The Band Perry, Kip Moore, Billy Currington and many others in Santa Rosa, California. Casey was one of 10 finalists selected by a judging panel and the only Australian act in the Fender Contender Challenge, which was decided by a public vote. The winner gets to fly to California and play main stage.

This festival, which is located just north of San Francisco in Sonoma County attracts over 17,000 music fans from across the nation annually. Casey will be performing on Friday 3^rd June.

Golden Guitar finalist Casey Barnes returns with a highly anticipated new album and is ready to amp it up in 2018. With a fitting title, ‘The Good Life’, the album was released on March 9th and saw it instantly race up the charts to land at #1 on the iTunes Country Charts.

Kicking off the album is chart-topping ‘The Way We Ride’, a song that is already familiar on the airwaves. The song debuted at #7 on the iTunes Country Charts and reached #1 on countless country radio charts across Australia including a massive 4 weeks at the top spot on the Country Tracks Top 40 Chart. The high velocity track also caught the attention of PBR Australia, which has seen Casey performing the song across the country for much of last year at their major bull riding events and will continue throughout 2018.

Lead single off the album ‘Ain’t Coming Home’ (released 16th February) is an uplifting feel-good party track that is welcomed as we near the end of summer and is a song that no doubt will resonate with fans and have them on their feet. Fresh off the back of opening for Lady Antebellum at Country Summer Festival in California, Casey recently inked a new record deal with indie label Social Family Records. The result is Casey’s new studio album, LIVE AS ONE, debuting at #9 on the official ARIA Album Charts.

LIVE AS ONE is out now and is a collection of catchy new songs along with fan favourites, with the title track tying the modern country album together. Most of the tracks were co-written and produced by Casey Barnes and Rick Price, plus Casey’s good friend and fellow songwriter, Mark Duckworth, with Michael Paynter and Michael Delorenzis also adding their touch.

For three of the songs on the album, namely “Saving All My Love”, “Valentine” and “Take It All Back”, Casey’s wife, Michelle, whom track #11 is dedicated to, joins him on vocals, their voices harmonising perfectly together. The album immediately received an amazing response hitting number 5 on the iTunes Country Album charts within the 1^st two days

The title track, “Live As One”, was recently released as a single and has been well received across radio. It’s a powerful and positive song, accompanied by a powerful and positive video, at a time where hope is needed more than ever. Riding the wave of success on a string of highly successful singles in 2018, the monumental year continues for Golden Guitar Finalist Casey Barnes with the release of a sincere, deeply heartfelt ballad ‘Set Sail’.

‘Set Sail is the one song on the album that basically wrote itself. It was like my father-in law was in the room trying to get a message through. It touches on a topic that most people can relate to... that of losing a loved one and the emotional roller coaster that comes with it for those left behind. ‘Set Sail’ (released 21^stSeptember) hails from Casey’s career defining #1 album ‘The Good Life’. Debuting at #1 on the iTunes Country Charts and #2 on the ARIA Country Charts, sees the album carve a path of contemporary country, delivering toe tapping songs that have resonated with fans and turned into favourite anthems. All singles released this year including the #1 single ‘Ain’t Coming Home’ were co-written and produced with powerhouse team Michael Paynter and Michael DeLorenzis from MSquared Productions. Casey’s most recent release ‘Be Mine’ reached Top 10 on various Country Radio Charts across the country and its presence is still felt radio, while CMC supported the video in full rotation.

Casey has toured internationally with Lady Antebellum and has continued performing at major Australian country music festivals such as Tamworth Country Music Festival, Gympie Music Muster, Groundwater Country Music Festival and CMC Rocks.

Earlier this year Casey performed at Australia’s largest International Country Music Festival, CMC Rocks, alongsidethe likes of Luke Bryan, Kelsea Ballerini, Darius Rucker, Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay and Brett Young. Casey went on to perform stand out shows at Groundwater Music Festival (with The McClymonts, Granger Smith, Adam Harvey, Troy Kemp and more) and Gympie Music Muster, (with Lee Kernaghan, Troy Casser-Daley, Ian Moss, Travis Collins, Beccy Cole and The Wolfe Brothers).
