ABOUT

There is no slowing down for Australian country powerhouse Casey Barnes. Fresh off a run of career-defining success, 2026 marks the beginning of a bold new chapter led by his anthemic single “Made For This,” officially selected as the theme song for Channel 9’s 2026 NRL season, delivering weekly national exposure across one of Australia’s biggest sporting platforms. The track has propelled Barnes into one of the most visible moments of his career to date.

Barnes has carved out a reputation as one of Australia’s most dynamic modern country artists. Across his career, he has built an impressive catalogue, notching 15 country radio #1s and amassing over 90 million combined streams. His 2024 album Maydaydebuted at #1 on the ARIA Australian Country Album Chart and earned him the 2025 Golden Guitar for Contemporary Country Album of the Year. The record produced multiple #1 radio singles, including the title track “Mayday,” which held the top spot for four consecutive weeks, alongside fan favourites “Never Give Up On A Good Time” and “Summer Nights.”

This success followed his ARIA Award-winning album Light It Up (2022), which spent over 60 weeks in the ARIA Country Top 20 and earned multiple Golden Guitar Awards, including Album of the Year and Top Selling Album. Standout single “God Took His Time On You” has also been certified ARIA Gold, surpassing 15 million streams.

Known for his high-energy live show, Barnes has become a festival mainstay both in Australia and internationally, performing at major events including CMC Rocks, the Gympie Muster, Ridin’ Hearts, and the iconic Stagecoach Festival in the United States, where he made history as one of the first Australian artists to perform on the main stage.

Beyond the stage, his music continues to connect on a global scale, with major television syncs across both Australia and the U.S., including placements with CBS, Fox Sports, ESPN, and national broadcast campaigns.

Now entering a new album cycle, Barnes is stepping into his biggest era yet. With new music rolling out and a major national tour on the horizon, 2026 is shaping up to be a defining year, not just in Australia, but on the global stage.
